Traditional Wallet Pattern in English

7,95 Inc. IVA (Tax)

The Traditional Wallet is a stylish wallet for your cards, cash, and coins. It’s specially designed to be sewn in cork or vinyl on a domestic machine, and because of its graduated layering, there are none of the usual problems struggling with too many thick layers.

This is a beginner-level sewing pattern with a YouTube video tutorial to sew along with!

The finished wallet size is 9.5cm X 23cm or 3 3/4″ X 9″
You would need a piece of non-fraying fabric minimum 15″ X 15″ or 40cm X 40cm, or alternatively, 1/4 metre/ yard of fabric will be more than enough leaving you with leftover fabric.
Of course, you can absolutely use scraps of fabric, this wallet is a fabulous scrap buster!

The Traditional Wallet is a stylish wallet for your cards, cash, and coins. It’s specially designed to be sewn in cork or vinyl on a domestic machine, and because of its graduated layering, there are none of the usual problems struggling with too many thick layers.

It has several card slots and a coin pouch section, as well as a slot for your cash, and two hidden pockets, the pouch can be omitted if you prefer a wallet just for cards. It’s a fantastic way to use up any scraps of cork you have lying around to make up the smaller card slots and pouch. You can also use other non-fraying fabrics such as leather, or Kraft-Tex. It’s a brilliant wallet that is fairly quick to make, perfect for selling at artisan markets and craft fairs, as teacher gifts, or as a last-minute quick creation.

This is a beginner level sewing project and there’s no hardware necessary!
